Northern Tier Solid Waste Authority is hosting a Drone Demonstration Mini-technical Seminar beginning at 10 a.m. on October 21, 2016. Remote Intelligence, Wells-boro, PA, will demonstrate how drones can be used for topographic mapping and volumetric analysis. The demonstration will be followed by a tour of the Northern Tier Greens Greenhouse, which use a portion of waste heat from the landfill gas to energy facility.
There is a $15 per person registration fee for SWANA members for the seminar and lunch ($25 per person for non-members. Participants should bring safety vests and wear closed-toed shoes.
